I remembered what that was. Yeah?
1- Favorite childhood book?
Ummm, wow, that depends on what part of childhood. I liked the Hanni & Nanni series, which is about twins in boarding school by Enid Blyton. They got really popular in Germany, so a bunch more books were ghost written and published.
Then later I was a huge fan of Kai Meyer’s books, which were these super fantastical girl-saves-the-world story (don’t know if they exist in English???)
2- What are you reading right now?
Buffalo Girls by Larry McMurtry, which is making me want to listen to country and watch westerns. I am almost done with that, next I’ll probably read some more foundation saga by Isaac Asimov.
3- What books do you have on request at the library?
I don’t…go to the library. I am sorry.
5- What do you currently have checked out at the library?
8- Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
No? I’ve always read basically anything I could get my hands on, I just have more recommendations now.
13- Can you read on the bus?
Yes. Though I get car sick more often now than when I was a child.
21- What will inspire you to recommend a book?
Did I love it? Do I think the person will love it?
34- Most intimidating book you’re too nervous to begin?
Eh, books don’t really intimidate me.
55- Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading?
I feel zero guilt about anything I read.
That said most of my absolute favorite thing to read in the world is the Kushiel’s Legacy Series which is this epic fantasy romance about a courtesan and her sworn priest/body guard/lover and how they have to save their country/the world in made up, medieval France (and lots of other countries). Add in some made up religion, incredibly detailed research, antagonistic lesbian romance, and the scariest villain I know and you have the best series ever
If you have read this series you should talk to me about it. If you have not you definitely should read it.
